Our studio priortizes eco-friendly practices, from sourcing locally grown blooms to utilizing reusable and recyclable materials, ensuring that our floral creations not only captivate the senses but also leave a positive impact on the planet.
We are dedicated to contributing to our community by offering support to local charities, youth organizations, and non-profit initiatives whenever the opportunity arises.
The inspiration behind our shop's name, Amber Rose, stems from a beloved member of our family-the remarkable Australian cattle dog, Amber Rose Peckham. Just as unique and vibrant as she was, we found resonance in the rare beauty of an amber colored rose, which ultimately became the namesake of our floral studio.
We were incredibly fortunate to have had such an extraordinary companion and a delightful shop mascot. Featured above is our beloved Mack, a cherished silver lab known for his affectionte nature. Both Mack and Amber were best of friends, inseparable, and often kept us company at the shop while we worked. Their presence and wagging tails brought joy to all who visited and are greatly missed.
Our shop manager and head designer Erica Nadeau has been with Amber Rose since 2014. She is Ann's right hand gal and the person to ask obscure plant and flower questions! She is a fellow alumni at Bristol County Agricultural High School. Her start in Horticulture in 1998 tempered a passion for plants and flowers that transcends in to her floral designs. After a 10 year carreer in the outdoors, at greenhouses, and a landscape company, she decided to make a change and found her passion in floral design. Working for a few florists and on Cape Cod for a few years she honed her skills. There she learned the ins and outs of every day design and shop management, as well as the fast pace of floral events and logistics involved in large scale events. She is an avid gardener and grows some of our floral products during the growing season.
To us, being a florist transcends the ordinary. Its's about infusing heart and sould into every creation, bringing cathartic moments to life. Each piece we craft is narrative in itself, meticulously woven with intention and love. Admist the whirlwind of work emails, phone calls, and everyday responsibilities, our floral arrangements stand as a testament to the beauty of intentionality and love. We are dedicated to capturing and enhancing every moment through the timeless allure of flowers.
